Roswell OB GYN: The Blog
Behind closed doors of our exam rooms…
As you can imagine, women come to our office looking for answers to many intimate health questions. Although our providers hope to promote a trusting environment, some women may still feel uncomfortable asking certain questions during their visits. I hope this blog helps answer some of the questions you wish you had asked behind the closed door of our exam rooms. I will post weekly topics addressing some of the most common questions from our patients. Please feel free to post suggestions for future blog topics. I will not answer individual questions through the blog, but please feel free to schedule an appointment with us if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Who are we?
We are a group of 7 physicians, 5 midwives, and 4 nurse practitioners offering care in gynecology and obstetrics. We deliver at Northside Hospital. I am one of the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners who joined Roswell OB/GYN in 2004. I offered to write this blog to help increase patient education through a new avenue. The opinions expressed here are mine and may not represent those held by all providers in our practice. I encourage you to schedule an appointment with your provider if you have any specific questions or concerns.
My name is Rachel Burt and I am a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. I have my undergraduate nursing degree from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and my graduate degree from Emory University. I joined Roswell OB/GYN in 2004. My passion for women’s health care started in my early twenties when I volunteered at a women’s shelter in Bolivia. I truly enjoy helping women maintain healthy lives across the lifespan. I look forward to sharing pearls with you each week that will address our patients’ concerns throughout all stages of life – from teens through menopause.
